Laura Stover, Ohio’s First Lady of Finance, community educator, published author and founder and president of Laura H. Stover Financial Group LLC, has always followed her natural gifts and talents. From contemporary recording artist to financial advisor, Laura’s passion and enthusiasm have continued to guide her on a path to personal and professional success. Author and columnist, Ohio’s First Lady of Finance writes a montly column Retirement Talk with The Village Reporter Newspaper. She has also appeared regularly on Television and radio as a featured expert guest providing commentary to the media. Today, with more than a decade of experience in finance, Laura specializes in working with pre-retirees and retirees to develop retirement, investment and estate plans and help them with each step of the Accumulation, Preservation and Wealth Transfer financial stages of life. She has her Series 6 and 63 Securities licenses, and is a licensed life and health insurance professional, who has mastery knowledge of life, health and long-term care insurance needs. Laura earned the name Ohio’s First Lady of Finance as a result of her advocacy for financial education. She is the founder of the Senior Symposiums of Williams and Defiance Counties. Through her events, Stover brings together a diverse group of speakers to address the common questions and concerns of area residents at local Senior Citizen Centers. She also hosts community workshops on personal finance and retirement planning topics throughout Ohio. Laura is a published author with “Men are from Mars, Women are from Wall Street” being one of her most popular articles. Laura is a financial columnist with the Village Reporter Newspaper she writes a monthly column titled RETIREMENT TALK. She has also been a guest columist for the Toledo Business Journal. She has appeared as a guest with Mike Wilson on WOWO Radio recently, and will be a featured speaker for her pioneering in technology and Education at the Senior Market Expo In Las Vegas this upcoming August where she will teach the nations top financial advisors and industry professionals. Laura’s community membership groups include the Rotary Club of Bryan, Business Professional Women’s Club, Chamber of Commerce.. Ms. Stover is a candidate again this year for the MDRT which only 1% of the nation’s top advisors achieve, as well she is completing courses to complete her Masters degree in finances along with Two Designations.
